About AgriCorps & The Movement for SBAE
AgriCorps is a growing international non-profit dedicated to connecting school-based youth with agricultural education across Sub-Saharan Africa. By implementing School-Based Agricultural Education (SBAE), we combine classroom instruction, hands-on school demonstration farms, and youth agricultural organizations (like 4-H clubs). In 2020, we launched the Movement for SBAE—an Africa-wide initiative leveraging research, advocacy, and multi-sector partnerships to embed sustainable agricultural training directly into national public education and extension systems.
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and proactive Strategic Partnerships Manager to spearhead fundraising efforts and strengthen relationships with key institutional partners. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will play a critical role in advancing our growth strategy to scale the Movement for SBAE globally, diversifying our funding base, and driving meaningful engagement with donors, government agencies, and global stakeholders.

1. Fundraising & Resource Mobilization
* Develop, refine, and execute a creative fundraising strategy to diversify AgriCorps’ funding base.
* Identify, cultivate, and secure $500K–$1M+ in annual funding through grants, corporate sponsorships, and strategic institutional partnerships.
* Lead the development of compelling grant proposals, investment cases, and donor-facing presentations.
* Manage existing donor relations, ensuring compliance, rigorous reporting, and transparent tracking of grant-funded deliverables.
2. Partnership Development & Stakeholder Engagement
* Cultivate and maintain strategic alliances with international development agencies, multilaterals, corporate foundations, and NGOs in the agriculture and education sectors.
* Represent AgriCorps and the Movement for SBAE at international conferences, global policy forums, and high-level networking events.
* Organize and execute high-profile engagement activities, including webinars, virtual workshops, and field visits to showcase the empirical evidence of SBAE’s impact.
3. Communications & Movement Advocacy
* Collaborate with the executive and program teams to design, update, and manage communication materials, social outreach, and the SBAE digital knowledge hub.
* Translate complex academic research and data points on youth agricultural adoption into clear, impact-driven narratives for diverse audiences.
