AgriCorps is committed to working with local and international partners to expand and embed school-based agricultural education within the education and extension systems of six countries in Sub-Saharan Africa by 2035.

In each partner country, AgriCorps plays a focused, time-bound role as a technical catalyst and systems partner. We do not deliver school-based agricultural education (SBAE) directly or indefinitely. Instead, we support governments and local institutions to establish high-quality SBAE programs that are positioned for long-term scale and learning.

To do this, AgriCorps has four core objectives:

1. Build Evidence

We collaborate with researchers to generate robust evidence, enhancing SBAE programs and research investments.

2. Transform Policy

We mobilize local and global partners to integrate SBAE into development priorities and national policy.

2. Transform Policy

We mobilize local and global partners to integrate SBAE into development priorities and national policy.

3. Catalyze Funds

We engage multilateral institutions, national governments, and the donor community to increase their funding support for SBAE programs.

4. Strengthen Capacity

Through collaborative thought partnership, we work alongside communities to develop agricultural curricula, train teachers and implementers, and expand SBAE programs that are both locally relevant and globally informed.

4. Strengthen Capacity

We develop agricultural curricula, increase training for teachers and implementers, and expand SBAE programs at national and local.
