Founded in 2013, AgriCorps catalyzes nationally embedded school-based agricultural education systems in sub-Saharan Africa by generating evidence, shaping policy, and strengthening local delivery capacity.

Core Team

A lifelong cattle rancher in Texas, Trent is a former national president of the Future Farmers of America and trustee to the National 4-H Council. He is an operating partner for VestedWorld.

Madeleen has 20+ years of experience at the intersection of education, agriculture, and evidence-driven policy in Africa. She previously held senior roles at Innovations for Poverty Action and now leads AgriCorps’ global strategy, embedding learning and evidence across all programs.

Katelyn has spent over 15 years building and scaling education and social services programs across Asia and Africa. Starting her career as a school teacher, she also held senior roles at USAID and the World Food Programme and now leads global partnerships and resource mobilization at AgriCorps.

Ben has more than a decade of experience in development program management and monitoring and learning. He has held senior roles with USAID, the World Food Programme, among others, and now works closely with our local partners in Liberia, to strengthen SBAE delivery, evidence use, and pathways to scale.

John brings 10+ years of experience in agricultural education and public service. He grew up as an Future Farmers of America member and helped build AgriCorps in its early years, later serving as a U.S. agriculture teacher and USAID officer. Today, he leads global program design, partnerships, and country-level implementation across the organization.

Hamady previously led AUDA-NEPAD’s Natural Resource Governance, Food Security & Nutrition Program. He currently advises African governments on national agriculture priorities.
